Join us for a cozy evening of quiet reading and noshing, where you choose the book and set the pace—we’ll provide the food, drinks and relaxing atmosphere. Bring a book, bring your bestie, and settle in alongside fellow silent readers for an uninterrupted hour of reading.

A menu of light bites and drinks will be available for purchase. A minimum purchase of one menu item is required to attend.

Because this is a quiet reading event, we kindly ask that all guests be 12 years or older and able to remain seated and quiet during the reading hour.

• Registration is encouraged, but walk-in seating will be welcome on the day-of. Please email us (here) with the total amount of anticipated guests in your party.

Step into the tearoom for an evening of spells, sips and a little glimpse into the unknown at our Witches Tea & Tarot Soirée.

Guests will enjoy a specially curated plated menu filled with autumn-inspired bites, including Cauldron Bisque, The Poisoned Apple, The Green Witch, a Brown Sugar Chai Scone and a Caramel Apple Cheesecake Jar. Then, visit our staffed Potion Station, where unlimited mocktails, warm spiced cider and hot teas will be flowing all evening. Pick your poison—or sample the entire spell book.

Throughout the night, guests will be called to the tarot table for an individual card reading. What will the cards reveal? Love, fortune, opportunity…or perhaps a warning to book your reservation before this event mysteriously disappears.

Join us for a witchy evening of enchanting flavors, mystical messages and plenty of spirited fun. Reservations are required, because even witches need a confirmed head count.

Our specially curated menu will be served as a plated meal and includes:

Cauldron Bisque
A velvety roasted pumpkin and carrot soup finished with toasted pepitas.

The Poisoned Apple
Sharp cheddar, apple butter and arugula on a petite croissant.

The Green Witch
Cucumber, whipped herb cheese and fresh dill on soft white bread.

Brown Sugar Chai Scone
Served with cream, cinnamon honey butter and blackberry preserves.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Jar
Mini spiced cheesecake topped with caramel sauce.

Pick your poison! Visit our staffed drink station to choose from a selection of magical beverages. Drinks are unlimited, so sample one—or try them all!

The Potion Station will include:

• Three varieties of hot tea

Q: When will I receive my tarot card reading during the event?

A: When you arrive, you will be randomly assigned a number. Guests will be invited to the tarot table in numerical order throughout the evening.

Q: I want to cancel my reservation. Will I get my deposit back? 

A:  Deposits for this event are non-refundable. However, if you cancel by September 8, your deposit may be transferred to a future tearoom event. Deposits cannot be applied toward regular dining.

Step into the shadows for Dinner with the Dead, an immersive evening of eerie storytelling, dark history, strange deaths, and tales of the dearly departed. Throughout the night, guests will enjoy four courses and four themed mocktails, each paired with a different morbid and macabre story—some unsettling, some bizarre, and some almost too strange to be true. Expect candlelight, creepy atmosphere, unexpected twists, and plenty of moments that will leave you wondering just how strange death can really be. Join us for one unforgettable evening where dinner is served...and the dead still have stories to tell.

Gather your coven and join us for a little afternoon magic at our Witches Brunch! Come dressed in your witchy best and settle in for a playful, enchanting tea experience filled with delicious bites, a beautiful setting, and just the right amount of mischief.

Your afternoon begins with a festive welcome potion, followed by a themed 3-course afternoon tea featuring three witch-inspired tea savories (finger sandwiches), a freshly baked scone, and one delightfully witchy dessert. Each guest will also enjoy a choice of two pre-selected tea flavors chosen to complement the menu.

Whether you arrive with your favorite witches or fly in solo, expect a cozy afternoon of tea, treats, laughter, and a little magic.

Simply Gathered is hosting our very first Table Setting Challenge, a whimsical tablescape competition where creativity, personality and a little friendly rivalry take center stage.

We’ll provide each contestant with a 30" x 30" table and a beautiful Simply Gathered place setting for two, including dinner plates, bread & butter plates, teacups, saucers and silverware. From there, the table is yours.

Bring your own: linens, napkins, table runners, chargers, flowers, flameless candles, décor and more...and all the little details that make a table feel uniquely you. Romantic, vintage, colorful, dramatic, garden-inspired, perfectly polished or wonderfully over-the-top, we want to see what you dream up. 

Once the decorating begins, it’s table versus table in a friendly battle for the prettiest place setting. The winning stylist will receive a 5-course Afternoon Tea for Two at The Royal Tea Room.

With only 11 tables available, space will be very limited.

Hosted by Simply Gathered by The Royal Tea Room, where we believe the tableware sets the stage, and you bring the vision.

Please note: Up to two stylists may participate per table. A $15 entry fee applies to each participating stylist and is due at the time of registration. 

Staff and fellow participating stylists will vote to select the Best Styled Table. The winner will be announced that evening and will receive a 5-course Afternoon Tea for Two at The Royal Tea Room to be used during a future visit.

All completed tablescapes will also be photographed and shared on the Facebook pages of Simply Gathered and The Royal Tea Room, where followers may vote for their favorite design. The Facebook People’s Choice winner will be announced by Monday, November 9 and will receive a $15 gift card to The Royal Tea Room.

Our Twilight Christmas Tea is a beautifully curated holiday experience designed to feel warm, intimate, and wonderfully festive from the moment you arrive. Guests will be welcomed with a seasonal beverage before settling in for a plated Christmas tea featuring an individual charcuterie appetizer cup, three hearty savory tea sandwiches, a freshly baked scone, a festive sweet, and thoughtfully selected teas.

As the lights soften and the tearoom glows beneath the Christmas tree, we’ll slow the evening down with a special Christmas story shared among friends, creating a nostalgic little moment meant to be savored.

Elegant, cozy, and full of old-fashioned holiday magic, Twilight Christmas Tea is an evening to gather, linger, and celebrate the season in true tearoom style.
